The Robinsons Rushby 9'7" (2935mm) greenhouse

The refined Robinsons Rushby is the dwarf wall version of the 9'7” wide Radley model.  Starting at 8'8", it can be built to any length using 8’1” extension modules. The 525mm high wall enhances the look and Victorian effect of the greenhouse. We will send you an official base plan with your order confirmation. Please do not build your base until you are in possession of this document!

The combined use of our box section ridge and R-box glazing bars provide stability, with the Robinsons unique Pro-cap glazing system providing the added strength required, whilst still retaining the elegant finish expected in such a feature greenhouse.

In addition, the cast aluminium spandrels on each glazing bar at eaves and ridge height increase the strength and improve the Victorian look. To accommodate the faster flow of rainwater running off the 45 degree pitch roof, elegantly countoured extra wide guttering ensures that the water runs into the downpipes for collection and use if you wish, by way of optional water butts. The Roemoor is well appointed, with adequate ventilation provided by plentiful automatic roof vents and an generous number of louvre vents, both of which vary in number depending upon the length of greenhouse.  To truly complete the stylish Victorian look, add the optional colour coordinated, cast aluminium ridge cresting and finials, making it a feature in your garden, as well as the perfect growing space.  The image shown has an additional hinged door at the gable end.

Standard Features

Lockable hinged door, with deep glazed panes, and embossed Victorian styling at the base.

Many greenhouses on the market have a step at the doorway, which can be inconvenient, and also a trip hazard. The Robinsons design has an extremely low threshold, making it perfect for wheelchair and wheelbarrow access

All roof vents are supplied as standard with top quality Bayliss XL automatic openers providing you with complete peace of mind during hot days. These ingenious devices work using a clever wax-filled cylinder that expands and contracts in changes of temperature and open the windows automatically to provide the required airflow without you having to intervene!

Fresh circulating air is so important in creating the perfect environment for growing plants.  These louvres work in conjunction with the roof vents, drawing fresh cool air in, and pushing warm stale air out.  Optional auto openers can be added to your louvres, for trouble free ventilation and further peace of mind.

Additional strength has bee designed into the frame, with these powder-coated, cast aluminium eaves spandrels, also adding to the Victorian-style finish of the greenhouse.  This is particularly effective, when combined with the optional ornate ridge cresting and finials.

Further strength is provided by colour coordinated, cast aluminium ridge spandrels, again, in an attractive Victorian design.

Downpipes come as standard with a Robinsons. Fitting neatly onto the integral guttering and clipped to the corner bar, they are ideal for channeling and ultimately storing precious rainwater, when a water butt is added.

This super quality roller blind is specially designed for the Robinsons greenhouse and bolts to the glazing bars at the top of the roof. You can then pull the blind down and hook on by the gutter. Blinds are ideal to help you control the environment during the hotter weather. Internal blinds have the advantage that they are not savaged by the wind and they still allow beneficial warmth in whilst stopping harmful direct sun burn. Can also be fitted on a side of greenhouse.

These simple systems consist of Horticultural grade shade netting specially made into a kit for one side of the roof. The 8ft wide net also drapes partially down the side of the greenhouse (depending on the size of the roof). The kit hooks on when in use or you can roll it up and tie back when not required.

For the ultimate in automation add these automatic louvre openers and fix them to your louvres. That way you can be sure that you’re never caught out by a sunny spell.

Optional 6 slat louvres

Fully height adjustable, our optional staging and shelving is extremely strong as it is bolted to the side of the greenhouses using tubular cantilever supports. You can set it to your perfect working height along the complete length of your greenhouse and with no vertical legs this then leaves plenty of room underneath for storage of heavy items such as bags of compost and large pots or extra growing space.

Dwarf wall models. We can adapt most Robinsons models to sit on a standard height dwarf wall, roughly 2ft high. In addition there are a number of easy modifications that can be made to the greenhouse which will help you if you are needing a slightly more bespoke greenhouse.

Integral aluminium guttering,  and two 25mm PVC downpipes come as standard with a Robinsons, to effectively take the rainwater away.  Collect and use this valuable natural resource with an optional 100 litre slimline water butt.  Don't forget to order a stand, to raise the butt high enough to access the tap with your watering can.
